How to: Share a OneDrive Folder Link
This article will explain the process for creating a folder in OneDrive and how to get a shareable link that can be sent to others at DMU to collect files. Please note this does require the recipients to have a DMU account in order to access the folder and upload files.
To Create and Share a folder follow these steps:
- Sign into www.office365.com with your DMU credentials.
- Click the 9 dots in the top left corner and select OneDrive.
- If you don’t already have a folder created, select “New” at the top, and choose folder.
- Click the share button next to the folder you created.
- Click the drop-down menu for “People you specify can edit”.
- Select People in Des Moines University with the Link, and ensure "Can edit” is selected from the dropdown menu.
- Click Apply.
- Then click Copy under the "Copy link" section to get a link that you can email to everyone you want to collect photos from.
