VLC Player - Video Files
It's common to see video files created using different formats or codecs (for example, .MP4, .AVI, .MOV, or AC97, to name a few). Not all video players native to Windows, Mac, iOS, or Android are able to play every file.
As an alternative, you can try using VLC Player. VLC Player is a free, 3rd party app that can play most video files natively or give you the ease to add-on the needed codecs. This includes the ability to play DVDs.
