Follow the steps below if you're receiving an error when trying to Open or Save a Powerpoint file.

Note:  The steps below are for Windows version of Office / Powerpoint.

Error Message:
You are trying to Open/Save a file type that has been blocked by your File Block Settings in the Trust Center.

Open the Trust Center in PowerPoint:

1. Click the File tab on the ribbon (upper left corner)

2. Click Options (lower left corner)

3. Select Trust Center (left side) and click Trust Center Settings (right side)

4. Select File Block Settings (left side)
5. Uncheck the boxes under Open and Save for each file type you want to use and click OK.
(You will most likely only need to unblock the first type)
