Microsoft has implemented a new feature that causes email links to open in Edge even if you have a different default browser set.

Use the following steps to set links to open in your default browser like Chrome of Firefox.

1. Open Outlook.
2. Select File from the menu.
   
3. Select Options
   
4. Select Advanced.
   
5. in the Advanced menu find File and Browser preferences.
   
6. Set open hyperlinks from out in: to Default Browswer.
   
7. Click ok.
   
8. Links in your email will now open in your default browser instead of Edge.
