Adobe Creative Cloud - How to install and log in
This article is only for individuals who have been assigned Adobe Creative Cloud licenses. This could be an All-Apps license that gives you access to the whole suite, or a single app license that only gives you access to a certain app (example: Photoshop). If you are interested in requesting access to a Creative Cloud application please reach out to Kevin.Peck@dmu.edu on the Education Technology team.
How to install and launch the Creative Cloud App
1) On your taskbar, click on the Windows button and search for "Software Center".
2) Select Software Center to launch it.
3) On the applications tab of Software Center, look for Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop Application and click it.
4) Click on Install.
5) Once it finishes installing, you may close out of Software Center.
6) Click on the Windows button again to search for Adobe Creative Cloud.
7) Click on Adobe Creative Cloud to launch it.
Note: The first time you launch it the software may update silently and won't seem to respond. Give it a moment, and a notification should pop up indicating that Creative Cloud has been updated. Then repeat steps 6 and 7 to attempt to launch it again.
How to sign into the Creative Cloud App
1) Once launched, sign in.
a) Enter your full email address (FirstName.LastName@dmu.edu) and then click Continue.
b) Select Company or School Account.
c) Enter your DMU UPN. (username@dmu.edu)
d) Click Next.
Note: If you are off campus you may need to also provide your normal DMU password and authenticate it.
How to install specific Adobe Creative Cloud apps
1) On the All Apps tab, look for the applications available in your plan.
2) Select Install on the app you want to install.
How to launch specific applications that have been installed
1) Under the Installed section, select Open next to the app you want to launch.
Note: You can also launch installed applications directly from Windows by clicking the Windows button and searching for your application.
