Solution: Adobe Fails to Create a PDF When Printing to PDF From Office Applications
Issue: Adobe fails to create a PDF when printing to PDF from office applications.
You may receive an error log document with the message "Aptos not found, using Courier."
Here are the steps to resolve this issue.
- Open Printers and scanners settings console.
- Open the start menu and type Printers & scanners
- Select Printer & Scanners system settings
- Find and select the Adobe PDF Printer
- Choose Printing Preferences.
- In printing Preferences uncheck rely on system fonts only; do not use document fonts.
- Click ok.
- PDFS should now print successfully.
