Install / Setup MergePacs
This will walk you through installing MergePacs on a DMU issued computer.
Requirements:
- DMU managed Windows PC
- Network connection On-Campus (3200 or 8025) or VPN
- Existing install or a previously connected version of MergePacs
(to setup the server information for MergePacs click the link here: https://dmu.freshservice.com/support/solutions/articles/14000039813)
Install the Software
- Click the Windows (START) button and type Software Center
- In Software Center, find MergePacs under Applications
- Open the MergePacs option and click Install (will take a few minutes to complete)
(When the installation is complete the Install button will be replaced with Uninstall/Repair buttons.)
Troubleshooting:
You may see prompts regarding Firewall and/or Security Warnings. Do the following for each prompt type:
Security Warning from dmu.iowarad.com (see screenshot)
Click the box to Always trust the Publisher and click Yes.
Windows Defender Firewall
Check the box for Domain Networks and click Allow Access. (see screenshot)
