How to: Add a shared Mailbox in New Outlook or Outlook on the Web
Shared mailboxes will no longer automatically appear in New Outlook and must be added manually.
Before You Start
- You must already have permission (Full Access) to the shared mailbox.
- You will need the email address of the shared mailbox you want to add.
Steps
- Open new Outlook
- Look at the left folder pane
- Right-click on Folders
- Select Add Shared Folder
- Enter the email address of the shared mailbox and press enter
- Scroll below your mailbox list
- The newly added shared mailbox appears with its name
