General Room Information Room Numbers: Olsen Center Capacity: 360 + Location: 1st floor of the DMU Clinic at 3200 Grand Ave Description: A flexible space for learning or events at the 3200 campus. Features three projector screens across the front and two side projector screens, and multiple microphone options, including handhelds, lavaliers, push-to-talk audience microphones, and a podium microphone. AV Equipment Displays: (2) 120" diagonal projector screens and (1) 220" diagonal projector screen at the front of the room. (1) 160" diagonal projector screen on the north wall. (1) 133" projector screen on the south wall. Cameras: (1) presenter camera facing the stage area, and (2) cameras facing the audience. Microphones: Lectern gooseneck, (6) lapel and (6) handheld wireless, (8) wireless push-to-talk desktops. An additional (8) microphones can be added upon request. Teaching Cart: Mobile lectern with annotation capable monitor Slide Advancer (Clicker): A slide advancer (clicker) is provided for the room PC. Olsen Center Microphone Options
There are many options available in the Olsen Center: Lectern gooseneck, (6) lapel and (6) handheld wireless, (8) wireless push-to-talk desktops, An additional (8) microphones can be added upon request. Control of the various microphones is available on the three touchscreens. If you do not see the microphone you want to adjust, swipe left on the card for the type of microphone to reveal more. There are three controllable speaker zones that match the Olsen's three room configuration option. Also, there are two "press feed" connections, one on the north wall and one in a floorbox in the back/center of the space. This allows for a camera or other HDMI device to send/receive to the Olsen Center's AV system.
