Overview: Microsoft 365 Quarantine Notifications
You may occasionally receive notifications from Microsoft 365 security asking you to review messages in quarantine. These messages are legitimate notifications from our Microsoft email system. The Quarantine feature works like a junk folder for messages that are likely to be phishing. It prevents these messages from ever reaching your inbox. What to know Messages will come from quarantine@messaging.microsoft.com You have 15 days to review and release the messages in case they are from a legitimate sender. You can either release legitimate messages, block sender, or just ignore the messages. You can visit the Quarantine page and review your messages at any time by going to https://security.microsoft.com/quarantine. The option to delete messages from the Quarantine page is greyed out. Messages will be archived automatically and ITS has restricted deletion in case we need the message for an event response.
