WIRED NETWORK
Our robust wired network infrastructure is built on Aruba and Panduit technology. It is built on a hybrid fiber optic and copper cable plant. Management of cable maintenance and routing, as well as the network jacks used to connect devices to the building network are maintained by vendor certified cable technicians and routinely monitored for performance and stability.
A DMU issued device is required, along with username and password, to access the employee network on the wired infrastructure.
Students can connect to a student network using their own devices and just their username and password.
WIRELESS NETWORK
The wireless network on campus is built on Aruba technology and supports most devices. (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax) It is available to all DMU account holders and guests. For end user devices a minimum of 802.11 ac is recommended.
