Working within the Coursedog system to submit course syllabi, run reports, or view academic schedules requires selection of the correct academic course, section and term.  The information below provides a guide for selecting the proper term and section number based on academic program.  Questions on terms and course sections can be directed to the Office of the Registrar.

Academic Terms

All courses offerings/course sections are housed within an academic term.   The chart below explains which program courses are always scheduled under the specific term.

Course Section Numbers

The course section number is the two digit code that appears following the course number.  For example, in the course number ANAT 1101A 01 -  Anatomy I, 01 represents the course section.

All courses approved in the academic catalog are assigned a section number each term offered.   Multiple sections of the same course can be taught in one term or just a singular section of the course can be offered in a term. All course offerings are identified by a specific section number.   Each section number corresponds to an academic program.
