3200 Campus - Connect to DMU Wireless/Wifi on a Mobile Device
Below are instructions to connect to your mobile devices phones to the wireless networks on campus. Wireless networks available are: DMUEmployee For employees only Requires DMU username and password DMUStudent For students only Requires DMU username and password iOS Devices Select the appropriate network DMUstudent or DMUemployee Enter your DMU UPN login and password Students = [username]@student.dmu.edu Staff = [username]@dmu.edu Click JOIN Certificate will prompt, click TRUST (certificate name may be different than shown, but will say dmu.edu") Android Devices The Android operating system can vary from device to device and between different versions of the operating system. The information below is relevant to all versions, but the pictures and steps may not be. Select the appropriate network DMUstudent or DMUemployee Set the following settings EAP method = PEAP Phase 2 authentication = MSCHAPV2 CA Certificate = Use System Certificates Certificate Status = Require Status Domain = dmu.edu Identity = DMU username Students = [username]@student.dmu.edu Staff = [username]@dmu.edu Password = DMU password (updated KB 6/23/2022 to include new Android settings regarding certificates).

Guest Wireless Access
Guests and visitors can connect to the guest wireless network for the duration of their stay. Select DMUGuest from the list of wireless networks on your computer or mobile device. Open a web browser and attempt to navigate to a website. You will be redirected to the Captive Portal site. Read and accept the Terms of Use and click Log In. It may take up to 15 seconds for the internet to be available after connecting Confirm you are connected and have internet access.

Connecting to New Campus Wifi - Staff and Faculty
The DMU Wireless network has been added to all DMU issued Staff and Faculty Windows laptops by policy. Staff and Faculty Windows computers should connect to the New Campus wifi automatically after login. To connect a Non-DMU issued device to the DMU Wireless network please use one of the KBs below. Connecting to New Campus Wifi - Guest Network

The Following Wireless networks are available: DMU iOS Devices Select the DMU network Enter your DMU Username login and password (not your Full UPN) Students = [username] do not include @student.dmu.edu Staff = [username] do not include @dmu.edu Click JOIN Certificate will prompt, click TRUST (certificate name may be different than shown, but will say dmu.edu") Android Devices The Android operating system can vary from device to device and between different versions of the operating system. The information below is relevant to all versions, but the pictures and steps may not be. Connecting a Windows Device to the DMU Wireless Network
Click on the network icon on your system tray. Select the DMU Network When prompted enter your Username and password. Confirm you have connected to the DMU Wireless network.

Connecting an Apple MacBook to the DMU Wireless Network
Click on the network icon on your system tray. Select the DMU Network. When prompted enter your Username and password. Click Continue to accept the Certificate. Confirm you have connected to the DMU Wireless Network.

Connecting to the Wired Network
If a workspace is equipped with a network port, the docking station will be connected to the wired network. To connect your laptop to the wired network, simply connect your laptop to the docking station.
