Coursedog is a centralized academic operations platform encompassing multiple products. DMU has licenses for the following Coursedog modules: Academic Scheduling Curriculum Management Event Scheduling Syllabus Management [Fall 2023 pilot] The Registrar's Office manages academic scheduling and curriculum management in Coursedog. Facilities Management oversees event scheduling. All faculty have access to Coursedog Curriculum for course change proposals, new course requests, and corresponding workflows and approvals. Access is through single sign-on using your DMU credentials. Log in to Coursedog and select the "Curriculum" product if prompted. Click "New Proposal" from the right side of the page under Actions." Select which type of proposal you want to create. If you select "Course Change Proposal", you'll also be prompted to select a term and course. Then click "Go to Form". Complete the form, including all fields marked as required and anything else that applies. Then click "Submit Proposal" at the bottom of the form or on the right-hand side of the page under Actions. At this point, your proposal automatically gets routed through your program defined workflow and approval process. If you ever want to review your submission and check on approval process, return to the Coursedog Curriculum home page and click "My Proposals" from the right side of the page. You'll see a listing of your proposals, along with a summary of workflow and approval status. Mouse over the steps to see what each step entails, or click into the proposal for additional details.
