Respondus LockDown Browser allows proctors to exit an exam without submitting the exam. This could be used in the event of an emergency or technical troubleshooting. The Proctor Exit password can be set and found in the Respondus LockDown Browser Dashboard in the D2L course.

1. Click on the “I” button in the upper left-hand corner of the Respondus LDB Window.
   
2. Then click on the Proctor Options button.
   
3. Then enter the proctor’s exit password.
   

NOTE: if no proctor exit password is required the student will be asked why they exited which will be recorded in the logs in Respondus.
