Now in Panopto, deleted recordings will be stored in a Recycle Bin for 90 days (as of 2018-12-15).

Note: After the session has been in the recycle bin for 90 days it will automatically go into a hard delete, which means the session will be gone permanently.

• Administrator, Videographer, or Creator access to Panopto

Restore a Recycled Session

1. To see a session in the Recycle Bin, you must delete the session. Select Delete below the session in the video library (See Figure 1).

2. Click on System in the lower left corner of the library. Then, select Recycle Bin(Fig. 2).

3. Here you should see your deleted session. Click on Restore to bring the video back to its original folder (Fig. 3).
