General Camera Troubleshooting

1. Camera cover is obscuring the lens
   1. Use slide lever on LCD bezel to open the camera cover.
   2. Some laptops have an electronically controlled camera cover. Generally, there will be a key on the keyboard that controls the camera cover.

1. Outdated camera drivers
   1. Install all available Windows Updates including Optional Updates.
   2. Check manufacturer’s website for updated camera drivers.
   3. Update BIOS from manufacturer’s website.

1. Camera App is disabled
   1. Enable Camera app.
      1. Select Start > Settings > Apps > Camera. 
      2. Select Advanced options.
      3. Confirm Camera is turned on.

1. Camera App isn’t functioning properly
   1. Reset Camera app.
      1. Select Start > Settings > Apps > Camera.
      2. Select Advanced options.
      3. Click Reset
