Pantone Connect - Plugin, Adobe Creative Cloud
You will need to have an account with Pantone Connect and Adobe Creative Cloud to proceed. To create a Pantone Connect account:
1. Click this link: https://connect.pantone.com/#/auth/welcome 2. Enter your DMU email address (first.last@dmu.edu) 3. Click Continue with Email
Add Pantone Connect Plugin to your Adobe CC Account:
Users can Add the Pantone Connect plugin via the Adobe Exchange. This will add the plugin to your Adobe CC account. You will only need to do this once.
1. Click on this link: https://exchange.adobe.com/apps/cc/103029 2. Ensure you are logged in to your DMU Adobe Creative Cloud account. 3. Click the Free button to install.
When installing you will be prompted to close any open Adobe CC products before continuing.
4. If successful, the Free button will now say "Installed"

Install the Pantone Connect Plugin on your Device:
After adding the plugin to your account, you can install it on your devices that run Adobe Creative Cloud. This will need to be done per device.
5. Open the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App on your device 6. Click on Stock & Marketplace > Plugins
7. Click Install
8. You may receive a prompt to open the Creative Cloud Desktop App. Click Open.

Using the Plugin in Adobe CC Products:
In order to use the Pantone Connect Plugin you will need to enable it in each program (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc).
This is done by using the Plugin or Window menu and finding the Plugins options.
LIMITATIONS: Currently, the Pantone Connect Plugin does not work with some/all programs that are built on the Apple Silicon architecture. You can run the Intel based versions of these programs by using the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App.
1. Open the Adobe CC Desktop App 2. Click Home 3. Click the 3-dot menu next to the Open button > Chose Open (Intel)
