Respondus Monitor FAQ Can I use scratch paper? Use of scratch paper or exam aids will be at the discretion of your course instructor. A clear exam space is recommended. During your entry into the exam, Respondus Monitor will require you to record your environment using your device webcam. What if they walk by in the background or start talking? The artificial intelligence (AI) within Respondus Monitor will likely flag movement or sounds during your exam. In the event of an emergency exit from an exam that is in progress, Respondus Monitor will require you to type in a reason for this exit. Your exit from the exam will be flagged for instructors, along with the reason you provide.

Confirm Respondus Dashboard Settings for Copied Quizzes
Respondus dashboard settings are copied from one course to the next, but the integration has to be initialized for the new version of the course. Make sure you click the Respondus Dashboard in the new course after copying new quizzes in to a course. Navigate to the course in D2L. Select Quizzes -> LockDown Browser From here you can review LockDown Browser settings for your quizzes in D2L. If you had Lockdown Browser settings previously applied they will appear here.

LockDown Browser Install (Staff/Faculty)
This article will walk you through installing the Lockdown Browser Lab Edition on your DMU issued Windows computer. Ensure you read the requirements below before beginning. Requirements: DMU domain joined/managed computer. Windows OS Active on-campus network or VPN connection. Previous versions of LockDown Browser (non-lab editions) uninstalled. Open Software Center by clicking your Windows/START menu and typing Software Center and pressing Enter Select Applications (left side) and Click Lockdown Browser - Lab Edition. Click Install (Repair to reinstall)
